If the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data happened / happens unlawfully, you may request the restriction of the data processing instead of the deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or enforce legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you file an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law). After expiry of the deadline, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted, provided that they are no longer required for the fulfillment of the contract or the initiation of the contract and/or there is no further legitimate interest on our part in the continued storage.

Data collection on our website

Cookies

The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are disabled, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO stored. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Please note that you can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually about their acceptance or can exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. You can find these for the respective browsers under the following links:

Please note that if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

You can change the cookie preferences you set when you first visit our site at any time here.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The website is hosted in a German data center.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Request by e-mail, phone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not share this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and / or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests addressed to us.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Registration on this website

You can register on our website to use additional features on the site. We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

For important changes, for example in the scope of the offer or in the case of technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our Internet pages (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user. The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

The above statements also apply to the implementation of training courses for which you can register via the website.

Data transmission at the conclusion of a contract for online stores, merchants and shipment of goods

We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of the contract, such as to the companies entrusted with the delivery of the goods or the credit institution entrusted with the payment processing. A further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly agreed to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Data processing for order processing

In order to process your order, we work together with service providers who support us in whole or in part in the execution of concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transferred to these service providers in accordance with the following information. The personal data collected by us will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the framework of payment processing, insofar as this is necessary for payment processing. The legal basis for the transfer of the data is here Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Creditworthiness and transmission to credit agencies

As a matter of principle, we grant you the option to purchase goods using unsecure methods of payment (e.g. invoice, financing). Accordingly, we have a legitimate interest in protecting ourselves as much as possible against the occurrence of payment defaults. This is done, among other things, by checking the customer’s creditworthiness before granting the option of using uncertain payment methods. As part of this check, we are entitled to use negative credit information that we have collected ourselves about the respective customer or have received from a third party. The creditworthiness information is information about outstanding payment claims and information that directly indicates the risk of non-payment (e.g. insolvency, debtor counseling, deferral due to inability to pay).

As part of the process of checking whether an unsecure payment method can be granted, we are also entitled to obtain creditworthiness information about you and information about any likelihood of a fraudulent order (FraudPreCheck) from an external credit agency. We cooperate with the following credit agency: Creditreform.

For the purpose of retrieving creditworthiness information, the following data in particular will be transmitted to the external credit agency: First name, last name, postal address, date of birth.

We can decide within the framework of the credit assessment by means of the use of an automated process whether you are granted the desired uncertain payment method (installment / invoice payment). For example, if a negative credit report is transmitted, the desired payment method may be automatically rejected by an information service.

The processing of your data in the context of the credit assessment is based on Art. 6 para. 1 letter b) DSGVO and Art.6 paragraph 1 letter f) DSGVO. In principle, we have a legitimate interest in carrying out a credit check when you select an uncertain payment method (installment/invoice purchase).

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

Plugins and tools

YouTube with enhanced privacy

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode causes YouTube not to store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. The transfer of data to YouTube partners, on the other hand, is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. Thus, YouTube – regardless of whether you watch a video – connects to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube may store various cookies on your end device after starting a video. These cookies allow YouTube to obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve the user experience, and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them.

If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no control.

YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

For more information on the handling of user data, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Maps

On our website we use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and a possible approach is facilitated.

Already when calling up those sub-pages in which the map of Google Maps is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data is directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO on the basis of Google’s legitimate interests in the insertion of personalized advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Google LLC, headquartered in the USA, is certified for the us-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. If you do not agree with the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, you also have the option to completely disable the Google Maps web service by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus the map display on this website can then not be used.

You can view Google’s terms of use at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html, and the additional terms of use for Google Maps at www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html. Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on the Google website (“Google Privacy Policy”): http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-neu under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in processing your application.

If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be processed on the basis of § 26 BDSG-neu and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship is stored in our data processing systems.

YOU CAN OBJECT TO THIS STORAGE IF YOU HAVE LEGITIMATE INTERESTS THAT OUTWEIGH OUR INTERESTS.

After expiration of the retention period, the data will be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to retain the data or another legal reason for further storage. If it is apparent that it will be necessary to retain your data after the retention period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will not be deleted until it has become irrelevant. Other statutory storage obligations remain unaffected.
